Secretary

I am a local boy; born, raised and still living in Mountaintop.
My beautiful wife, Donna, and I are happily married and have 2 great daughters.

I went to Wilkes University then received my M.D. from
 Hahnemann University in Philadelphia.
I was in Family Practice in Mountaintop for 22 years, but now work
 for the Disability Bureau.
It is a nice 9 to 5 job giving me more time for my family and my new
 found passion - Motorcycles.

I am a late-comer to bikes. I never even sat on a motorcycle until
I was 49 years old, it was a 'Midlife Crisis' thing. Now I hate getting off one.
Unfortunately, I have had spinal surgery twice and still have nerve damage
in my feet and toes. They can go numb without warning. Because of this, I
crashed my Boulevard C-50 twice. Fracturing my ankle and making the damage
even worse. I needed a bike with hand controls.

So now, I ride a S T AT (Step Thru Auto Transmission) Bike.
Yes, some less enlightened people still call them 'Scooters' but I love my
Suzuki Burgman 650CC machine. I have been radar-clocked on the straightaway at
105 mph and bikes of course are like some other things in this world,
IT IS NOT HOW BIG YOUR'S IS - BUT HOW WELL YOU USE IT

I am proud to be a member of the W.V.M.C. and to now serve as an officer.
It has made a great impact on my life and plans for the future.
I look forward to serving the club as a whole and any individual members that need aid.

Any member who has a question or desires my help should feel free to
 contact me at markbohnmd@hotmail.com.

Here's to a great riding season and many more to come!
